April showers usually bring May flowers, but this month they bring a chance to win a copy of my newest release. A middle-grade mystery, The Bomb Squad, leads children through a mystery exploding with excitement!
Bryan and his three friends, Josh, Shorty, and Tim, seem to be magnets for trouble. After accidentally setting off the communities Fourth of July fireworks, they earn the nickname, The Bomb Squad. Although the boys try hard to do the right thing, they find themselves in adventures that lead to mysteries.
In this first book of the series, Bryan’s mysterious new neighbor, Mr. Benson, has the boys snooping to find out if he has any secrets. When it turns out he does, they must work fast to keep the neighborhood safe. With the help of Max, Bryan’s dog, they can discover Mr. Benson’s secret. Will the boys solve the mystery before they get into trouble again? Will they be able to earn their reputation back in the neighborhood?
Enter to win a copy of The Bomb Squad and a discussion guide. The discussion guide includes a brief synopsis of each chapter and open-ended questions to promote some great dialogue with your child. The guide also consists of a few activities to add to the book’s excitement.
