A Month of Thankfulness

 thankful, thanksgiving, seasons

Thanksgiving is a few weeks away, yet my heart is thankful today. I’m grateful for my family, my church, my health (which has improved), and my faith. While I might not be thankful for daylight savings time change, counting my blessings in the wee hours of the morning has given me a fresh perspective on my schedule for the next month or so.

This has been a challenging year for so many in our country and around the world. The decision to be grateful for the blessings around me provides a sense of peace. In the midst of chaos, God gives glimpses of His mercy. Today I choose thankfulness. If you’d like to build gratitude in your life, click here to purchase a gratitude journal. Simple Scribbles is filled with short, easy-to-complete ideas on ways to build this habit in your life. It can be completed during your morning coffee and later before bed so you can reflect on your day.

What are you thankful for today? Has God shown you His mercy in a specific way that you’d like to share?
