The excitement of publishing my middle-grade chapter book, The Bomb Squad, overwhelms me this morning. There are still a few steps to complete before the release. Each step is a new adventure (translate this, learning something new and feeling confused half the time), so my emotions are all over the map. The final edit is underway or may be finished. Two cover designs to pick from have made this journey to publish seem more intense. It feels like a dream, but it’s quickly becoming a reality. I don’t want to dream anymore. I want to be awake and enjoy this dream come true. Somebody pinch me, so I don’t miss one second!
