Like so many people I know, I resist change. This year I wanted to challenge myself to “Do the New” in my life. I plan to step into full-time writing mode and have resigned from my job. It was a difficult decision. I didn’t leave because I was unhappy or dissatisfied but because of the desire to pursue my writing career. The Lord leads in ways I don’t always understand, so while I love my library, I’ll enjoy it as a loyal patron now instead of an employee.
Projects I strongly desire to complete beckon me to work on them full-time. I have the third book in The Bomb Squad series to finish and send off to the publisher, a young adult mystery/suspense novel I began a few years ago, a testimony book that is outlined, and a short story compilation I’d like to self-publish. These are just a few items on my agenda for the rest of this year and into the next!
Keep an eye on the website because there will also be a few new features coming here over the summer. Spring has brought new things on the horizon for me, and I hope you’ll answer if you feel the call to change somehow!
