Inspiration in a Flower

This weekend my husband and I visited the Azalea Path Botanical Garden and Arboretum in southern Indiana. The beauty this amazing place has to offer is astounding. What began as a love for the outdoors and flowers became an attraction for people all over the country. Hundreds (if not thousands) of people visit every year.

I find inspiration in the trails, waterfalls, and, of course, the flowers. Azalea bushes in bloom beside lakes. The reflections as beautiful as  the bushes themselves. But inspiration will only last if you put work behind it. Too much inspiration and no work leaves you just as drained as too much work with no inspiration. Today I work toward a few of my goals and find peace again. Peace I didn’t have last week.

My heart fills up every time I’m there. Do you have a place that inspires and uplifts your spirit? How often do you get to visit? Today, I look at the pictures I took and make them my background and lock screen for my computer and my phone. Reminders of the beauty I enjoyed.
